We aim to create a strong and comprehensive short, medium- and long-term Communication Strategy and Visibility Plan for the ECOWAS Regional Stabilisation and Development Fund (RSDF), including its pilot project in The Gambia. The strategy will address the communication with different external stakeholders which are categorized in three groups: (A) The German government, BMZ and the German public as well as ECOWAS and its Member States, in particular the Gambian government (B) the population in The Gambia and other ECOWAS member states and (C) young people, women and returnees who are the primary target group of the project at this stage of its deployment. We understand the strategy needs to formulate effective ways to show impacts and successes which addresses all three target groups. The objective is to lay the strategic groundwork for ECOWAS to communicate with these different stakeholders in a professional and engaging way and speak with one voice.
